    Statistical Consulting

    The statistical consulting group provides assistance to Iowa State researchers on the following topics:

    • research design, sample size calculations
    • choosing statistical methods
    • use of statistical computing packages (R, SAS, and some JMP) to analyze data
    • interpretation of results

Software

Iowa State researchers have access to a number of specialized software programs that specialize in managing and analyzing data. Colleges and departments may also provide additional software to their members. Computer and equipment lending
